BILLED UNFAIRLY

I took a contract with MTN December 23rd 2020 (two Huawei p40 lite) @ Boulder's store in Midrand, without insurance for both phones. I have never been debited the agreed amount, always there was a story to tell, either i over spent the limit or insurance. To my suprise this month i was debited more than what i was supposed to be debited (R1412. 94)and the amount that was supposed to be is R649 and when i queried i was told that; the other number has over spent the limit of which the spend limit was set to zero in February but still was billed of which i don't get why would i be billed on a number that was set to zero on spend limit and they also mentioned that i took an insurance hence the debit order was that high which i explained to them that i did not take any insurance with MTN. I asked, what do i need to do to claim back all the money that was not supposed to be debibed; they said i need to send them an email with insurance waver form and/or pick- up document of which the store stopped using the waver form since last year and i went back to the store and spoke to Clement Phungula, the consultant who assited me with the contract, to get what was requested. Upon the arrival at the store he also checked with their system and confirmed that i did not take insurance as there were no documents signed confirming that i took the insurance and the consultant i spoke to from the insurance company (Mpho Mmesi) was very rude on the phone and couldn't even provide me with all the information i requested/asked from her for confirmation regarding the insurance but told me that it's either i get the letter from the store admiting to the mistake made and acknowledge or i will never be refunded. I need my money back MTN! I regret taking contract with them! Why am i not paying R649 that i afford and signed up for?

It is really sad and frustrating the fact that i had to move away from my bugdet because of something i did not take and I was not even aware that until yesterday. It's very sad to be billed for the past three months without even knowing let alone paying for something you have never budgeted for.

I even regret having the contract with the store.
