Billed over R13000 for a service I did not want

<br> In April 2015 I visited MTN Norwood Mall intending to purchase a contract for my daughter to whom I had given my old iPhone. Brian , the assistant, advised me to rather purchase a once off pay as you go package and to see how long it lasted before committing to a contract. He sold us a R200 package that he said should last her quite a while .At the end of that month, I received a bill for over R4000.<br> When I went to query this huge amount with Brian again he told me that it was due to data usage . He never told me that it was my daughters line that was accruing these costs.<br> Our Telkom landline had been down for most of that month so I attributed the huge MTN bill to our excessive usage of my cell phone and paid the bill.<br> The next month however, I received another bill for over R4000. I was told that the excessive data usage was all from my daughter's line and that Brian had in fact linked her line to my uncapped line and had never loaded the prepaid voucher. And the next month I received a further bill for R5095 that was apparently due to a back log from the previous month.<br> So Brian's negligence has cost me over R13000 and no one at MTN is prepared to sort this matter out.
