Billed for H/W Fees on new Contract
Dear MTN

I had a contract which I took out with Nashua Mobile in January 2014. The contract included handset fees which is normal. I upgraded my contract in December 2015, which was 2 months before the original contract expired.
My latest account (February 2016) still indicates that I am being billed for the H/W Fees on the previous contract.
When I queried this with your customer services, the one person said its fees being carried over from the previous contract, the other person said its penalties for early cancellation. Now I am confused...which one is it?
Firstly, its been 25 months since I had the original contract - why am I still being billed for the original handset fees, and secondly when are you going to stop taking money from my account for a handset which has been paid for? I am sick of this!
If I dont hear from your customer services department today, I am going to Cell C on the weekend and request that they buy me out of my contract with MTN!!!
Your service is pathetic and your customer services people dont even know what is going on.
Yours sincerely
A possible EX MTN Customer
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns with MTN, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.
As per our telephone conversation Handset fee is basically the cost of your chosen handset.
The total cost of the handset is broken down in to the number of months making up your contractual term (24mths) and added to your statement as H/wees and the last amount of handset fee will be on the invoice dated 01/03/2016.
warm rewards
