BILLED FOR "DATA" I NEVER USED

I have a laptop contract with MTN, where I was initially supposed to pay R369 a month. To my surprise they started Invoicing me R469 from Jan 2017 and no one is able to explain why from their call center. They say I use Internet for free and I should set my usage limit to 1 then I will no-longer be invoiced that amount. Checking my limit it is still at 1 and they are forever giving me reference numbers saying the matter has been escalated and is under investigation but I never get a response. How does it happen that I use the same amount of data every month? How possible is that? How long must a matter be under investigation and who is supposed to Pay for that wrong invoicing so long? The extra amount calculated is over R870 to date, who is gonna refund me my money as I'm fed up with this nonsense they are pulling on me. How the hell do you invoice someone money that none of your call center people or "Investigators" can pick up on? What y'all doing with people's money? What exactly am I being Invoiced for?

Thank you for your post.

We sincere apologized for any inconvenience incurred.

Kindly be advised that the billing department has investigated the extra billing on the account.

The clients SUL has always been R100, it was only changed to R.00 on the 26/10/17.

The data charges are valid the account has been billed in the range of the R100 usage limit that was set up before the change was done in October 2017.

From next month no extra billing due to the usage limit set up now. The account balance is R661.75

Kind Regards
