I have been speaking with various people in order to try to sort out my son's account that migrated from Altech Auto page and currently have 2 numbers with MTN. My only goal was to transfer the one remaining number to my existing account and DO AN UPGRADE. All of these people have assured me (during the 4 agonizing months that I have being attempting to do this) that they would escalate and come back to me. Yongama Lengisi , Leon Bradfield, Palesa Kubeka.... and still I wait and I wait. Not one of the above listed people have bothered to follow up or follow through. In desperation I even suggested that the existing number be cancelled, a new contract done and added to my two existing contracts and we start afresh. Then to be told by Grace, New Business, that I have a judgement against me and they cannot do a new contract - they already have my two existing contracts with them one of which is a business contract!!! When I contacted Transunion to validate this : I was informed this was NOT the case!

When I called today to speak to retentions to follow up why Palesa Kubeka did not respond to me as promised I was informed that retentions do not take calls! Odd considering that I was put through on Wednesday and Palesa did take me call. I have also been informed by a Phumlani Pakamile that the line is suspended only to be told that MTN do not know of this person and no , the line is not suspended. How can you possibly run a business in this manner????

So here we are, now some four months with zero resolution! My suggestion: release me from my two existing contracts without penalitites and I shall happily go to Vodacom.
