Beware about your 24 month MTN contract

I took out a Black Friday Deal on 22 November 2018, for R199. From 22 November 2018 until 11 December 2018 was pro rata, and the actual monthly discounts were loaded on the 11 December 2018. From 11 December 2018 until 11 October 2020 I received my full monthly discounted bundles only paying R199 (that's only 23 months). On the 11 November 2020 I received my usual monthly bundles however, on the 12 November 2020 when I received my Invoice for R1700,57 I was devastated since I spoke to Ayanda Seyama (***) from retention and she did tell me and sent an email as well, that I will only be charged on the 12 December 2020 for the full amount (including all the discounts). The breakdown for my 12 November 2020 invoice was as follows, from the 12 November 2020 to 21 November 2020 pro rata R60,58 and from the 22 November 2020 until 11 December 2020 pro rata (R330,43+R782,61+R150,14+R376,81=) R1639,99 (half month). So beware everyone, when you take out a 24 month contract with MTN it is actually 23 months of discounted bundles and 1 month of very expense pro rata which will leave you devastated. I was with MTN for almost 24 years now, but I guess its time to move on to something else.
