Well, this has happened during last year, when i was due for an Upgrade round about October, i did receive my upgrade for the Sony Experia Compact, and i did all this at the MTN store in V&A waterfront, served by a guy called Aiden, who asked me whether i would like for my account to be credited after airtime is expired, I rep**** to Him, with shock, saying No!, knowing that from my last upgrade i didn't choose that option as well.
I was shocked to find out, that with my first month of data usage, i was billed, R1777.00 as Credit? which i did not want in the 1st place,k i immediately contacted the Mtn guy, he acknowledged this, and sent a request to reverse the amount, but it seems as if it fell on deaf ears. I was than billed further R2773.54, that's when the guy told me that i need to manually turn off the credit , to R1.
I was than credited back the amount, but than was sent Sms stating that i still owe the same amount, and now legal action was going to be taken. I now owe them, R3775.54 and My service has been cut off.
I went to MTN store nearby, and all they told me was that i got to pay up the amount,. and quoted some T&C conditions to me.
Best regards,
