Being harassed by "VWM attorneys" after closing my MTN account

<p>Having terminated my MTN contracts to move to prepaid as I spend 6 months of the year abroad, I paid all my early termination fees and had MTN confirm final settlement and migrate my packages to Prepaid in March 2016</p> <p><br />Suddenly in August 2016 a debt collection agency called VWM has started harassing me about owing MTN money, saying I have an outstanding account. I have since supp**** all my correspondence with MTN and the proof of payment and contract termination and the proof of payments acknowledged by MTN, yet VWM continues to threaten and harass me daily via email, phone and text message and I now have an adverse listing with one of the credit agencies.</p> <p><br />I am considering taking legal advice on this matter as even my calls to MTN seem to be falling on deaf ears, and judging by others on here I am not alone.</p> <p><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></p>
