Being handed over AGAIN!

<p>Last year I fell into debt with MTN because the business I work for cut salaries to the bone, because of the poor circumstances in the minging industry.</p> <p>I couldn't even arrange for down payment because I just didn't have any money to do so. The moment I did, I arranged with Hammond Pole for down payment. The smallest amount they wanted to accept is R1000 per month, which when you are in financial difficulties is almost if not downright impossible!</p> <p>I paid off the amount far ahead of time with one big payment which was loaned to me. By then I was in arrears again by a few months, which I of course couldn't pay.</p> <p>I was told that MTN can't close an account before the full down payment has been made, which means that you will be paying for the rest of your life because while your down paying the original amount your monthly payments are heaping up again! How can this be right? What am I paying for?</p> <p>My cellphone and modem numbers have been blocked so I'm not even receiving any service for what I'm owing! Am I going to get all those months worth of service back when I finally paid it down? Of course not, that is now these businesses work. They have all the power, which is why I'll never go on contract again and am recommending absolutely everyone I know to do the same,</p> <p>No wonder so many people are in debt when you are punished even when you are trying to do the right thing! </p>
