Being given the runaround- embarrassed and ignored

I have now reached my wits end.

This is regarding my approved contract, but MTN's inability to provide stock of the Sony Xperia M5 Black.

I have complained through various online channels, as well as in person at the branch. I received a call from a Mike who

assured that within a day he would have feedback for me, and that he would have the regional manager contact me.

Since that call 26 July, I have heard absolutely nothing from MTN. A reference number was provided, but blocked off by HelloPeter, so I can't use it as a means of tracking progress.

I have attempted to contact you via your Twitter service, I was told to direct message you with the details. All of which

have been ignored.

I have been embarrassed by MTN as a customer, as I have taken time off work each day to go back to the store, only to be

told stock of the phone has not come in and that I must keep coming back the next day, this has happened almost daily from

the 15th July onwards.

This is really amusing as this is coming from a mobile network operator, who could simply phone me and let me know what the

situtaion is. The store did not bother to even inform me that my phone is not in and that I shouldn't waste my time coming

down.

At this point, even if the phone comes in today, after the run around I have been given, what makes MTN think I'm going to

enter a 24 month contract bound relationship with them? I did not request a contract from MTN for leisurely reasons. I

required it for business purposes, and with the assumption that the process would take at most 2 to 3 days. Not the two

weeks I have been left in limbo for.

What is going to be done to restore my faith in the company and actually ensure that I decide to agree to the contract?

PS- Do not offer me the Sony M5 in White colour.
