Being Debited for a Cancelled Contract
I am disappointed that MTN is still debiting my bank account for a contract i did not renew due to bad service. I have been a loyal MTN contract customer for the past 5-6 years and i am disappointed by the way their conducting their business.

My *** number was due for an upgrade in July and i decided not to upgrade and i gave them a 30 day notice for the cancellation of my contract which was due on the 28th of September 2015 and i was told to call again on the day it expires which i did and below is the communication i did with a consultant:

Sinovuyo Sese [ MTN South Africa ]
Sep 28

to Retentions, me
Good day,

Customer would like to move from Post to Prepaid.

Please be advised the term date for the contract is today (28/09/2015).

MSISDN: ***

Please look into this and assist.

Kind Regards

MTN -808

They did debited me the full amount for the month of September which was debited on the 1st of October. My query is why did they debit for October if they cancelled my contract on the 28th of September and how am i going to be refunded....
