Being Bul**** by MTN

On the 10 of Febuary 2014 I took out a 2G capped data package for R369 (ACER TMP 253) over a 24 month period. The pricing plan remained 2G capped package for 16 months, then on the 17 month of the contracted it was changed by Mtn to a uncapped 2G ( open line contract).

In January 2015, I made a late payment after a missed debit order. In the months following the amounts changed varied between R434- R1099.08.

13 of June 2015 the contract amout change to R375 in September 2015 I queried the account price plan change and was told the contract was change to an open line contract. Number of queries was made to Mtn call centre and in store with no resolve or explanation to the change in tariffs.

In December 2015 none of the consultants could find the profile when I went to make a payment. In March 2016 I recieved a call from SSDA debit collectors stating I owe mtn R6083.89.

My total contract value was R7832.53 and by September 2015 I have paid MTN aproximatly R10 000.

After emailing SSDM my queries with MTN and my contract their consultant emailed back stating that queries should be raised with MTN and not them, I should pay the money to them and take up the matter with mtn. The Same company who a did not respond to my preivous calls and emails.

All I asked for, from the start was honest, transparent answers but all we got was the run around, bullying and threats.
