bad servive
im writing this complaint expressing my frustrations with mtn how ive been unfairly treated by mtn first and foremost ive been a loyal client for 7 years never missed any payments. I could have traded for another company the past 4 months I was not well was involved in an accident which led to my premiums falling behind. I only resumed at work second week December I called to make a payment plan and made them aware about the situation, and acknowledged that I will make my payments up to date and paid R1050 thru the absa account send proof of payment. I got an sms that it was received on Thursday I called and I spoke to the lady by the name of melody she was assisted me and her service was great and activated my lines 48 hours later my lines were suspended again which was not part of the agreement, was told it was sent to legal department im full of anger 7 full years I've been with this company is this what a customer service is? Is this how their customers being treated on daily basis im so shocked and disappointed how this operation work client is core they don't deserve to be treated like this need this sorted out asap or measure steps will be taken.
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused and for the breakdown in service experienced.
According to an escalation that was done on the 23rd of December 2015 to our Corporate Credit controllers. The original payment arrangement was defaulted on and the current status was activated on the account.
According to our credit controller (William Mogoroshi), 75% (R3757.57) of the total paidarrears amount need to be made and then the remaining balance was going to be split over a period of 3 months.
The account is currently in arrears for more then 3 months and once the arrears has been paid up can the line be reactivated.
