Bad Service, Township style with Disrespect, Attitude and Arrogance!

I was in a good mood just after doing my nails at Placecol, Mall of Africa. I get done around 19:55. I wanted to purchase a prepaid sim for my phone since I had upgraded to a new one. I went to MTN and the doors were closed. I check my time and its 19:57. I knocked. A very disgruntled looking Meinkie Ndlovu(If thats her name)comes and opens slightly. She eyes me up and down like they do in the township(its supposed to mean 'I am better than you').

I ask if they are closed. Clearly annoyed, she tells me that they are cashing in. 'Can you help me?''What do you want?' 'A sim card' 'pre paid or contract? 'prepaid'. The whole conversation is taking place and she is trying desperately to find ways for me to bug off. After saying prepaid, she tells me I need proof of residence. I tell her that I have an existing contract. She tells me that I still need a proof of address. What? I told her it does not make sense. Then defeated, she let me in and leave me to be attended by another annoyed George.

Menkie continues to talk loudly so that I can hear her. She says that she is in a hurry because she drives and there is traffic( she is trying to let me know that I am a nobody and she has a car!lol).

George was trying to show off to Menkie that he can be difficult and sort me out. I called him out on it. He says I am insulting him. I told him straight that he does not have Customer s****s and needs to go for training. He tells me he is educated and thats how he was hired.

I recorded the whole interaction. If MTN was my business, I would fire them!

There was another white gentleman, and all he was interested in was talking to Menkie about some sport. What the hell?

It was like I walked into a ****a shop!!!

I am dissapointed because last time I was there, the girls there were Amazing!!!.

Train your staff. I am not a difficult customer. I had difficult servers with an attitude and arrogance! How is that for irony?
