Bad service once again.

I just used my prepaid voucher of airtime bought in an emergency at 1am in the morning. I bought R30 airtime and now it's showing I only have R20.18 Available right after recharging but the pop up said I have 20.18? Is this how MTN Robs you of your airtime? Because I called customer service and no one seems to know how they can help me.
