Bad Service MTN and SSDS
I got retrenched from my job last year, and at the time had a MTN Contract . I was paying while not working till my finances got very bad.
The last time I payed was in June or July. Now that I go a job and want to settle my debt I see on my Credit Record that I have a Default against me placed in February this year .
I believe as a business you have to first contact your client before putting bad things on their credit records.

When I took that contract phone, I stated my cellphone numbers, my email address, home address and my postal address. How hard is it to get in contact with me before putting a Default against me.

Now I get some messages from some SSDA (Shapiro Shaik Defries & Associates) in regards to my outstanding/overdue MTN account.
I have no idea who this SSDA is and I will never deposit money to people I don't know.

Even they cant phone but at least they sms unlike MTN but they don't even tell me how much my balance is.

I hope you (MTN and your SSDA) improve the way you run your business, this i peoples lives your messing with.

when you want to sell us your products you call but when you really need to call us you just use your power and alter our Credit Records.
Thank you for your post.
We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
On the system it shows that communication was done from MTN side but there was no feedback from you.
If a customer is unable to make payments towards their account you have the option of calling MTN to make a payment arrangement with your credit controller.
Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
