Bad service, horrible experience and no good end result

I had a very bad experience to a point that I'm even thinking of no longer recommending or suggesting MTN to anyone.

I bought a preowned phone on contract, via online .It came in March, with a 6 months battery swap warranty and 1 year hardware Warranty. On the 2nd of October it stopped charging, that's when I took it to the Black MTN building in Bloemfontein (Nelson Mandela Drive & 2nd Avenue) it got booked in on the 4th.

I kept calling for updates because it was inconveniencing me when it comes to work things, couldn't communicate to colleagues, employer and loved ones, I later got an update that the repair order was cancelled.

I then went back to the store on the 25th , received the news that the system had an error & it was rebooked that morning of my arrival at their offices. I tried getting updates the following week and every time they kept saying it was being escalated via emails.

I called on the 29th and was told it's started being repaired, called daily after that to hear when it's returning & no one knew, till I got a call saying that I should log out of my iCloud and I couldn't because the phone is still with them & has my E-sim.

I kept calling for an update & nothing, till I got a call over a month later 18 October to come collect the phone, with excitement I went 😄 only to discover that it's still not fixed 💔

I've never been so heartbroken, I don't know if this is what they do to all their customers or is I was the unlucky one.
