BAD SERVICE FROM THE GET GO! BREACH OF CONTRACT

In September the upgrades department contacted me via phone so I decided to upgrade two of my Data Contracts. I upgraded my contracts to the 2G R119 per month contract. Lelitia messed up on one of my upgrades so I requested cancellation on both, Bradley talked me out of it and promised me a R500 credit on my account due to the inconvenience. I have never seen that credit? I also requested limits to be set up which are not done!

To my horror I received my October statement and it is was a complete mess, so much so that that MTN Greenstone couldn't even figure out what was going on? Each contract is R119 per month so please explain to me why I was billed R417 for October??? I made nurmerous calls and was informed that the billing department had messed up and they would need to fix it on their side, I received no further feedback after that. I received my November statemtent and again it was a mess however it said that I owed R238 for November which is correct, to my disgust MTN debited R556 off my account last night!!

I plan on contacting the Consumer Protection Agency if this is not sorted out right away! Some of my reference numbers are ***8, ***, ***

Hello slrebel,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the breakdown in service experienced.

We have now perused your account, we see that the upgrades were done on the 23rd of September 2015 so the new subscription was billed in October 2015. The reason the billing was for a total of R556.00 was due to the service fee discount not being added to the account. That has since been corrected and a credit amount of R298.00 including VAT was added to the account.

The credit that was allocated to the account has credited your invoices for the 20th of November 2015 (R238.00) and your account is currently in credit for the amount of R60.00.

We have now done a follow up with Bradley with regards to the credit of R500.00 offered. We will touch base with you as soon as we get feed from Bradley.

Regards
Tim
