Bad Service Delivery

Recently I upgraded 2 handsets and a data contract.

January 2017 I upgraded my one handset and data contract through MTN Direct as a result of our Thabazimbi branch giving very poor service and I bypassed them because I expected better service from MTN Direct.

This was the contrary, I had to phone them each time only to hear that the phone was still in the warehouse and not been invoiced on the day that delivery was supposed to take place. Only then to hear that they have a backlog of December, but when upgrading, nothing was mentioned by the consultant.

Bare in mind that MTN has a 30GB free for one month when you upgrade, which you receive that same day of upgrade, only to be able to use it on the new handset a week or even later... which was my case. (So what is the use then?)

Again for a second time, today I am waiting for a week again since upgrading last Monday, after phoning several times and also to hear that the handset will only be here on Wednesday this week. I spoke to Kgabo, as my mother made use of him as well and she told me that he was very helpful. Again I phoned a consultant as Kgabo does not give feedback and he told me that the delivery will take place last week Friday. 2 days went by and I phoned again and spoke to a another consultant, the consultant told me that they are avoiding clients as they don't know what to tell them, due to the poor service and long waiting periods. This is unacceptable MTN Direct, I hoped by bypassing the branch that I would get better service, but instead it is worse.

A friend of mine is with Vodacom and her upgrade was delivered 2 days after upgrading (also in Thabazimbi)
