BAD SERVICE BY MTN

1. Bad service from MTN
2. Mis-information provided by MTN to me

- On Saturday 22/08/2015 my phone suddenly stopped working without a reason, on my investigation I noticed that I could not make or receive calls and texts.
- On Monday 24/08/2015 I took it to an MTN shop in Bloemfontein where I was told to take it to the MTN Repair Centre. I was called by the Repair Centre to fetch my phone because it was not faulty but it was Blacklisted. This happened without my knowledge or consent.
I took the phone back to the MTN shop and I was told that I had to do an affidavit with the Police before the phone could be un-blacklisted. No one could explain to me why my phone was blacklisted.
- On Tuesday 25/08/2015 I took the affidavit to the MTN shop. They let me speak to an MTN consultant on the phone who assured me that my phone would be un-blacklisted an hour from the time. I latter tried the phone but it was still not working. I phone the MTN call centre who advised that the process of un-blacklisting takes up to days from the time of the request.
- Today 02/09/2015 I went to a MTN shop in Maponya Mall SOWETO where I was told that my phone is still blacklisted
