Bad service and treatment
MTN is the most ridiculous customer service provider. They have the most *********** and unknowledgeable call centre staff.
Last week i have been calling the callcentre to try and get my statement so that i can see how much i needed to pay, because on the mtn active website they havent been updating my statements since August 2015. Twice i was told they will email me and update my account on the website. i waited and only yesterday(02-11-2015), after i insisted to stay on the phone until i receive the email, i got the email, without all the requested documents.
I then made an EFT for the payment. Today(03-11-2015), i receive an sms telling me to pay or my services will be suspended. I usually pay my bills around the 25th of every month, but since they nolonger update my accoutn on the website, i know have to chase getting my statement so i can pay which delays the payments, now they send me these stupid sms. I called again and they say the payment is not reflecting. I made the EFT from my bank account to theirs which is the same bank. They used to email my Statement then they changed their system and sent an email with a link to download the statements which never works.
Thank you for your post.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.
We have updated the email address on all the levels and changed the delivery method to email function. We have resent to you the invoices and statement from August to October month.
We have received the payment for R1045.00, the SMS has been sent out before the payment reflect on the account. The account is now in credit with R1.12.
Kind Regards,
