Bad service and still struggling to cancel contract

Two years ago on father's day I signed up for a contract with MTN for a laptop. We were unable to use the data on the SIM they given us due to ****py connectivity which the call center had failed to assist us with. Two months later the laptop stopped working and when I took it to MTN wonderpark they told me they can't help because any faults were meant to be reported within a month of receipt. I had to take out additional money to get the laptop fixed. Fast forward to 2016 May, my contract with MTN was coming to an end in June 2016 so I went into an MTN outlet in Cresta Mall to complete my cancellation, I filled in a cancellation form AND spoke to a lady from the call center who said they had processed the cancellation. Before I left the store I asked the guy assisting me if there'll be further action needed from my side and he said no that will be all and the last deduction will take place on 25 June 2016. I later received an email confirming cancellation and shortly after an email asking me if there was anything MTN can do to retain me as a customer (something I had already answered in store and on the call), at no place in the email was there an indication that if I did not respond to the email my cancellation process would be stopped. To my surprise in July there was another deduction from my account, furthermore in August an invoice was sent. I went to MTN Cresta AGAIN on 17 August 2016) and the guy assisting me (who by the way refused to give me his name) told me the cancellation wasn't processed because I hadn't responded to an email from the retention office (referred to above) and would need to complete ANOTHER cancellation form. He also mentioned I would get a cancellation email the next day but haven't received it to date. I am not using their data, never have and just want this contract to be CANCELLED!!! In addition to that, I would like my money for the last 2 months to be reimbursed in full, this is completely unacceptable and annoying to say the least.
