BAD SERVICE AND MANAGER MTN CRADLESTONE
MTN Cradlestone… Went for my upgrade 25 Jan 2018. My daughter chose a iPhone X, and was very excited that Bongani said it will be R100 more than what she is paying at that time. Bongani also explained to me and my daughter that is is going to be round R970 per month (which is about R120-00 more as what she was paying) so we agreed and I signed. Feb came and the amount that went off was R1512-00. I first phoned Bonganie, and he said he will look into it and phone me back. Nothing happened. I went back to MTN Cradlestone. Bongani explained that the iPhone X that we took was the "bigger" memory and that is why is was more. He did not say or explained that when he gave us the phone. Bongani said it was a misunderstanding from his side. He really looked sorry that he gave me the wrong information. He called Iyanda (the manager) and after sitting there for almost 2 hours they gave me the option of returning the phone or moving to a 36months and then it will cost me R909 including everything a month. I agreed on the R909 per month. Next month came and the bill was still the same. Phoned and phoned and left messages, but nobody ever phoned back. Went back to MTN beginning of June and Bongani was on leave, however Iyanda was there and was surprised that it was not resolved. He said he will look into it and will phone me back the same day. That never happened. I wrote a review on Hello Peter and MTN responded that they will look at the matter Still no joy Yesterday (27/06/2018) I went back to MTN Cradlestone. Bongani again not there but Iyanda was there. He immediately recognized me, and said he will check. He phoned MTN and while with them on the line, I now had the option of going to a cheaper package and paying R1228 per month. They cannot move me to 36 months. I did not want that. That is not what I signed for. And Iyanda became arrogant end bossy. His words you want to take it or leave. Or I can leave and you can deal with Bongani. After spending again an hour and a half there and Iyanda being really arrogant and like a bully I said I will take the R1228 just to pay cheaper for now and I also wrote on there I am not satisfied. How do you explain that its only going to cost around R970 and then suddenly I am paying almost R600 more?? How do you give someone an option and then turn around and say no you can not move to 36 months? Iyanda, I do you became a manager and you treat customers like that??? My daughter is 15 years old and when we walked out of MTN her words were Mom even I wanted to start saying something He was rude, and I felt bul****. Talking to a customer like that? You have no respect Iyanda! Nothing! If this is how you operate MTN you are going to lose clients. I want what Bongani explained in the beginning and what I signed for.
