bad service and exploitation of customer

I just called mtn to do a sim swop for one of my contract lines and was told to go to an mtn store and pay R150 for this swop . whats happening to this country we already pay sky high call charges but now this too is so unacceptable to to pay R10 for a sim card and swop it for R150, what is so complicated that this service is so expensive and why not provide your customer with this information b4 they sign up for this pathetic service.<br> mtn should really improve in their services and not get worse. i want to know can one cancel your contract if its violated like this ?

Hello mouersd,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.

Kindly be advised that currently the contract SIM SWAP is done at your nearest MTN Store and yes it is chargeable you will still need your id book and proof of residence.

Warm Rehgards
