Bad service

I lost a prepaid SIM card. Purchased a SIM card from Pep Rica'd it and went to MTN for simswap, I was asked to go to police station for affidavit and ask to pay R100 for a SIM card. I asked where does Pep get their MTN SIM from if I have to purchase another SIM for R100 not get airtime. I believe I was ****med by Linde vryburg MTN ***
