Bad Service
I took my phone to MTN shop Bedford on the 17th of July for repairs and the was no feedback until I went back to the shop 08/09/2015 to find out .<br> I was told to contact Service centre and spoke to Nosipho she advice SMS was sent to me with the quote but to my surprise the contact number they have was incorrect .<br> Her explanation was they pick up that the phone went for unauthorized repairs previously and I need to pay R300 + to release the phone .<br> Nokia 520 ,IME NO:***<br> I'm surprised because this a contract phone under warrantee and it was never taken to anyone for repairs ,it means I was given a phone that was tempered with.<br> My take is I need my phoned back fixed ,period !!!! <br> Failing to do so I will be forced to take the matter to consumer Affairs . <br>

HVRC (Repair centre) is guided by the handset Manufacturers Repairs guidelines and in accordance with their Standards and mandate.
All our handsets go through full Quality assurance tests before being issued out to clients. For as long as your handset complies with all warranty guidelines, our HVRC will be happy to assist with all the repair issues you might be having or replace it depending on the nature of repair/fault.
The device will only be returned, provided that you have settled the service fee of R330.00 in full. Kindly note that MTN reserves the right to dispose of Devices where Devices remain uncollected for a period of 90 (ninety) days or more or where you fail to make payment. MTN shall endeavor but shall not be obliged to give you notification of such disposal.
Kindly note that you may contact our High Volume Repair centre to provide you with the pictures which show the unauthorized repairs.
