Bad service

I am a MTN customer for more than 25 years, but at this stage I am so unhappy with your service that I believe that the end of our relationship is close. to be honest I can't wait for my three contracts (R1700 per month) to reach their expire dates so that I can move them to Vodacom.

One of my contracts is for a LG G4. This is my daughters phone. She have scratched the back of the casing when the phone was a week old, but the phone was working perfectly. After all a scratched casing shouldn't damage the interior of the phone. Now eight months later the phone ran into a boot loop. This is a well-documented bug in the G4. you can read more about it on the internet.

http://www.androidauthority.com/lg-admits-g4-bootloop-problem-hardware-fault-669603/

The phone was handed in at MTN shop B ant Cape Gate center in Brackenfell. The lady told my daughter that there won’t be a problem since it is a G4 problem and should be repaired for free. A week later i received a sms to tell me that the quite for the repair of the phone will be R4500. i went back to the MTN shop to find out why the phone was not repaired. they told me the reason for that is the scratches on the casing.

I was already unhappy about this but fine. the phone is insured with MTN. So i filled in the insurance papers and it was send to the repair center. A week later MTN contacted my daughter They didn't want to speak to her because the contract is not in her name. I phoned your repair center to find out what the problem is. They told me that the phone was sent back to the shop, because I didn't accept the Quote. When I explained the above situation the only response I received was "but our terms an conditions" So MTN is using their terms an conditions to work themselves out of a well-documented problem with the phone. So back to the shop I went. At first we could not find the phone. Now for the next surprise. The name on the proof of purchase is not my name. The person who did the update filled in the wrong name. Eventually we found the phone under a other name. The lady in the shop can't believe that you didn't want to repair the phone and she have seen the scratches. The

lg rep who was in the shop feels the same. He told me to bring the phone to LG for the new chip.

Back at home I received a sms to tell me that you made a mistake with my debit order and that I must make arrangements so that it can go of for double the amount at the end of November.

Now for my experience with my latest upgrade. In the shop I was told that the LG G5 SE is an upgrade to the LG G5. So I took it. A couple of weeks later I found out that it is a downgrade.

To sum up. I have a broken phone with a factory fault which is not in my name on the proof of sale. With a company that tries everything not to honer the guarantee. I feel that you have broken the trust that I must have in a company like you. I don't know how you are going to repair the trust. I can't wait for the next two years to go pass, so that i can take my contract and move on.

After you have send me a sms to tell me you will contact me nothing happened.
