Bad, poor or worse service, your MTN choice

<p>Bad, poor or worse service, no response, *****ing and daytime ******* are most the common terms to be found in many reviews about MTN. But what else can we expect in a lawless country, where committing crime of whatever nature is so easy. Here my first time experience. First time as before I never checked my prepaid account and just recharged, so I did last Friday. R100, and gone by next Tuesday, without any chargeable calls or other services.</p> <p>My request for explanation is still unanswered by today. But since I'm checking my account many times a day and guess what, the available amount is changing from one minute to another between recorded R10.41 to zero, sometimes up sometimes down.</p> <p>If they would admit to have a problem I would understand but no reply at all gives me another impression. And so I have to line up with other unsatisfied or simply milked customers and complain publicly. </p>

At least a reaction and an hour later a phone call, explaining I had a long internet session... At office and at home I have Wi-Fi with automatic changeover, I don't use Facebook or Whatsapp, and anyway, I use my old Wildfire very rare for internet access as its just inconvenient. My battery was also flat and I had to charge every 3 hours. MTN, that explains exactly why my account does not only go down but also up again. Definitely there is no fault on your side and all MTN customers are stupid.

Dear Constance Matiwane (High Value Pre Paid Call),

I have received your itemized billing form but I did not ask for on our telephonic conversation. All I requested for was proof where my airtime has disappeared to. But this story is as funny as your explanation “data” which I never used. I cannot just answer your mail confidentially, that content has to be leaked publicly and should be a warning call to others.

You really want me to print and fill in that 5 page PAIA form, sign, attach some identification documents (I guess certified by the president to keep it easy) and fax them back to the number stated on page1 of the forms. What please is a FAX? Do you at MTN still use such? OMG, no wonder you guys have problems. But you mention a suitable alternative, a postal address. Are you serious or is that just another part of your avoidance policy? Is that worth it, for R100? Oh I forgot, you at MTN make some extra cash with these complaints, and as I see here I’m not alone. You only mention there is a fee involved, prepaid of course, but you don’t even have a clear price tag for this “extra service”.

You know what, instead of donating this festive season anything to a probably ********** social institution I make this donation to the generous MTN instead. Including my number by the way...
