Bad Mtn Service - causes hardship

Last July/August I was billed R2000+ for 4000+mb data used in Mozambique over 4-5 days. I requested paperwork to substantiate the usage as I rarely use more than 3000mb in a month. Despite going into Mtn offices, sending and receiving emails with reference numbers to date I have never received a reply. I was called some time ago by a staff member probably from accounts who took all my reference numbers and assured me he would escalate the queries. Nothing to date.

I have been paying the monthly account in full during this period.

This morning my phones were suspended and I am unable to get through to the legal department.

Mtn must surely 'jack-up' staff training as this could have been avoided. Being a pensioner without a phone is more than disconcerting, never mind the fact that I may now be blacklisted.

I thank Mtn for the prompt response and really appreciate the lines being opened .

Well that was short lived. I was promised the relevent URL and Im still waiting for that document. Meanwhile they have suspended my service again. It would appear that even though a 'person' contacts you it is pot luck who receives your reply. Someone else picked up my email and just suspended the service without looking at the history of the review. (in my opinion). Now I want to go to their offices to speak to someone face to face but I have no idea where to go to . If I ignore this I will be blacklisted which at 72 years of age has never happened, however I am still not prepeared to pay the exhorbitant amount without first seeing what I am being charged for. I was told to pay 75% of the account and I will get my service reconnected. How disapointing. Shame on you Mtn. It would appear that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Even though I received a URL it did not apply to the date of the query. The itemised billing clearly outlined the dat but the URL report I received did not cover that date.
