Bad debt customer barred from business

I have a question for MTN. I’m hoping to get a response by posting my question on this platform and possibly help others in a similar position to mine . I was a contract customer in 2010 and after some time had financial problems in my business which ended up with my MTN account being unpaid and I believe was handed over and so forth. I have been employed now for 2yrs and receive a R500 cellphone allowance but Last week I app**** for a R89pm data contract which was declined and I was never notified of that or given a reason for it. Does this mean I’m barred from doing business with MTN forever? I’m with MTN prepaid at the moment but it makes sense to eventually move over to contract in future but I’m not sure if this is possible.
