Bad customer service
During my recent visit to MTN Birch Acres for an upgrade, I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional customer service from a gentleman named Luvo, also known as "Malume". Despite not having the specific cellphone I was seeking, Luvo went above and beyond by referring me to another store, MTN Stoneridge, where I was directed to Daniel.
However, my experience at MTN Stoneridge was disappointing and disrespectful from the moment I entered the store. Upon greeting and introducing myself, Daniel's response was derogatory, stating, "Yes, you look like people from Tembisa," delivered with a tone of disrespect. Throughout the interaction, it was evident that Daniel was simply going through the motions to complete the transaction, without genuine concern for my needs.
Notably, he failed to inquire about insurance, neglected to provide an invoice, and hurriedly urged me to sign documents without proper explanation, stating, "No sis, just put your signature only so that you can leave." As someone in a customer-facing role, Daniel should understand the importance of providing respectful and attentive service, regardless of personal biases or assumptions. My encounter left me feeling disheartened and dissatisfied with the level of service provide
When I got there, I was undermined from the minute I enter the store. I greeted and introduced myself. Daniel's respond was, I quote " Yes, you look like from people from Tembisa" with disrespectful tone. Even the way he was assist me you could tell that he just want to finished what ever he was assisting me with. He didn't even ask about insurance, I did not get the invoice and while i was busy filling the documents, he said " No sis, just put your signature only so that you can leave" . I think my presence annoyed him and I was disappoint to receive such bad service and as someone who works with people he should know better.
