Bad Customer Service / Debit order mandate dispute

Good day

I am an MTN DATA contract holder of the number ***. My contract has expired on the 27th August.

I received an sms that I will be debited an amount of R357.00 instead of the initial amount of R157. 00.

On the 31st August, I called MTN to query the above, the agent advised that she will transfer me to her Supervisor, I held on the line and the line got cut.

I called again and spoke to an Indian agent, pardon me for mentioning the race, he kept on interrupting me the entire time and when I tried to get his name he acted like he cannot hear me and released the call. Both agents advised that the R157. 00 was for promotional contracts and has changed. I requested for both to provide me with the contract that u signed stipulating that and no one could provide me with one.

My request is to cancel the contract ASAP,if I get debited for the next 2 months let it be the agreed amount of R157 as I never received any debit order mandate for the R357.00. I sends an email to the complaints department on the 01st September and neve received feedback, only an auto response.

Can MTN cancel my contract as I no longer want too do business with them, they have hidden clauses which are not explained by their agents and they are not displaying TCF principles.
