Bad customer service

I am not happy at all with the service I have been getting from Mtn for the past 2 months I have been struggling to get my old number back as I lost it on the 7th of September 2021 I called more than 10 times passing the security questions but my sim swap keeps declining whereas my number is off and I have follow all the procedures that I was told during the process which includes not to switch off the handset with the new sim but still..therefore I was told to go to nearest Mtn store with an affidavit and certified copy of my Id...Did those documents and went to Mtn store at Gateway and one Indian lady did the sim swap for but it’s still declined and I went back there again and the guy assisted me it’s still declined and we called the call centre and was advised to escalate to the store manager which they did but I still haven’t got my number and at the store they said they are not sure if the manager will process it because they do not deal with prepaid customers Today I called the call centre again spoke to a lady and requested to speak to a supervisor and she refused until she dropped the call on me I honestly do not know what to do now and Mtn is not giving me any assistance regarding my query If I cannot get this number back they should let me know so I can just get a new number with another service provider and stop bothering them
