Bad customer service

I went to mtn in cradock eastern cape to upgrade my contract. I decided on a Huawei p9,it gave me problems by over heating and draining of battery. I went back within my 6th day which was yesterday and I got a new phone so I was told that I should take it back within a day if any problems occurred with the new phone they replaced the old one with. So last night I expirienced the same problems while using the new phone it was overheating and I immediately stopped using it. I took it back today and they tested it and made as if I was lying. They blatantly made me out to be a ****. I was very upset and wanted to cancel but they said they couldn't they had to send it to repairs. I don't want a repaired phone because I'm still within my 7 days. Now I don't know what I'm to do,because apparently their policy differs from the other mtn policies. When I phoned customer service they told me that all MTN policies are the same. I'm very dissapointed in the service they gave me,while busy talking to them the manager laughed at I don't know what. I couldn't notice that anything was funny at that specific moment. With the new phone they gave me they told me that it is within the same 7 days. Now I don't understand isn't it suppose to have its own 7day period because it has a different IMEI number. Right now I just want to cancel this contract ,but they refuse to do it for me!
