Bad advice from MTN consultant!!

Towards month end August I visited MTN store checkers 457 Welkom to pay account as usual, I was assisted by guy/consultant named Nico. He advised me that I don't have to pay my account as my account is not in areas, in fact my account is a month ahead with my payment and I am due for upgrade. I took his advice and I did not pay my account, now my account was suspended due to non payment. I owe MTN R790 and I don't have that kind of money to pay them and now MTN can't assist me. Again I have to pay double amount. I am really not happy with the service I received
