Bad advice and bad service

I bought a new cell phone, Redmi for my Husband's birthday in May 2022 @ MTN Louis Trichardt. I asked for a glass protection, and ordered a booklet cover, they told me they don't do glass protection anymore. Told me the plastic screen will work just as good or maybe even better. 4 months later, still waiting for the booklet cover, the phone drop 30 cm to the ground today 15/09/2022 and the screen is cracked, I called the shop and told them what happened, sorry they can't do anything about it, they also have that type of cover on their phone, and they make sure they don't drop it. I just feel it is unfair since I have asked them for the glass protection and booklet cover. If they have done their job, the phone would have been protected. What am I to do, know.
