AVOID MTN INSURANCE AT ALL COST

I urge you please do not take out insurance with MTN Insurance. Rather do so as part of your household insurance or with your personal broker, you will receive far better service than MTN. I had 2 experiences with them and both were horrific. On the 1st occasion I sent my Iphone 6 in for repairs for a cracked screen. They took just under 3 months to resolve, the loan phone they provided me did not have the software updated, I had to update at my own cost, in addition the loan phone was a was a 16g and mines was a 64g, so I could not get all the data onto the loan phone, just the contacts. They only returned my phone several weeks after I had made payment of the excess and its impossible to get thru to them on both numbers they provide, being *** and ***. <br> The 2nd incident is more recent, my phone was ****** and I reported this together with the police affidavit on Monday 6th July. To date I have received no response despite me emailing them almost on a daily basis, it is now 21 days later and I have no idea when I will get a replacement phone. MMTN is extremely quick to debit you for the premiums but absolutely not interested in honouring their commitments.
