Avoid at all costs, poor service, and racketeering

My contract expired in 2021, which I didn't cancel or renew, then they put you on a month to month basis on a ridiculously expensive rate. Finding out that it was so expensive, I've tried to cancel it. They said it would take an extra month, which I said a refused to pay because there is no contract obligation. After the my cancelation, they didn't even make the cancelation. The next month when I phoned, the same thing happened, extended the payment for another month. After more than an hour on the phone with them, they still couldn't cancel it and told me I must phone back the next day. They admitted it was a mistake from their side but there is nothing they can do as my data/minutes was already allocated. They threatened/ *********ed me with the credit regulator If I didn't make the payment.
