ATTEMPTS TO ***** MY PERSONAL NUMBER

I have been using an MTN number for many years now, tis more than 15 yrs. Yesterday I have received an sms saying that the same number has a pending sim swap. I called in to alert MTN that my number is actually working, they also verified that it is indeed working, I am under the impression that they are able to see all the numbers which are calling them. So that means someone is attempting to ***** my personal number. I couldn't get assistance. I called in 4 times yesterday to alert them but was told that I need to wait until i loose network tis then they will perform a reversal. I asked what if this happens while am not even aware? and that my personal things are attached to this number, MTN told me that there is nothing that they can do. So I need to wait for the crime to happen,be a victim first, then it is then that I am going to get assistance? I need answers. Most of my calls are recorded, and I can provide the recordings for this incident. I did not sleep well, I kept on checking on my phone if it still has network or not and with this loadsheding it is quite hard. All my accounts and personal things are attached to this number.

I tried calling MTN again this morning because the attempts to ***** my number were still being pursued even during the night and now. I need help!
