Arrears money paying unnecessary lawyers fees

Well after being unemployed my account was behind with payment, than in January 2015 I phoned to ask for a settlement amount the lady at the branch told me I need to phone Norton attorneys but at that moment I paid in R8000 when I phoned to ask how much should still pay a gentleman informed me that they actually owe me R 64. A month later a lady named Boitumelo called me to say I still owe R6000 I Dan said fine as I have already spent the money paying other bills I will pay R500 every month. I calculated dat I have paid R1830. But my account was still at R5000. Until another gentleman phoned n I asked but y is the amount not going down he said dat I am still paying for lawyers fees but my account is not.in arrears so it could have been sent back to the mnt branch which no one told me about until dan. Mtn needs to check their sysems because for someone thats in dis for the first time how would I know how things work. Never ever going to take out a contract with Mtn.
