ARE THEY ROBBING PEOPLE OF MONEY????

I don't understand MTN anymore honestly. I had upgraded my phone online in December 2020 to a Huawei P Smart S and it came with the the smart watch, and when choosing your data package, it says next to a * including device. This all was for R299. I was being charged for the regular +- R400 including insurance and come to find my invoice for January 2021, was for R658 and looking at the details, I was being charged for an extra R173, it just had "Device" as a reference. But that isn't the only thing I noticed. I noticed on top of the R299, only then was MTN adding VAT to their prices even adding VAT to my insurance, so to my knowledge their prices online are not even VAT inclusive. I have sent countless emails asking them what the extra R173 is, what is the deal with the prices as I believe they are not VAT inclusive (I even went back online to find any indication of it saying prices are VAT exclusive, but even so THIS IS TOTALLY *********!) but they are so f**king doff and can't read a damn email, they keep telling me over and over the package I signed up for is R349 per month. I took R299 and added 15% VAT which gives R349. So for the past 2 contracts I had before, were they robbing me of my money?? I actually landed up cancelling my insurance because this is such BULL****! I again emailed yesterday asking the same questions and still awaiting a response. They know they *****ed up somehow but just refusing to admit it!
