Application for contract declined without explanation

On 25 November 2017 i app**** for a sim contract on a black Friday weekend promotion and my application was processed by Thandeka who then told me that their system was slow but she has captured my application and will come back to me once the system is running smooth.

I waited for Thandeka to get back to me and she never called or smsed me back regarding my application.On Tuesday, 28 November 2017, I called MTN contracts on ********** 667 to follow up on my application and i was told that my application has been put on hold pending supporting documents like bank statement,payslip,id copy proof of address. I was then told that Thandeka will call me back to request such documents from me. I waited for Thandeka to call me back and she never called.

Again on Tuesday,05 December 2017, I called MTN and spoke to Nomthandadzo who told me that my application is still pending supporting documents and only Thandeka is the one who must request those documents from me and that i must wait for her to call me back. Nomthandodzo did mention that she will also ask Thandeka to call me back. Thandeka or anyone from MTN never called me regarding my application ever since i app**** on 25 November 2017.

To my dismay i received the following disappointing message from MTN this morning "Dear Valued Customer; your recent application with MTN has not met our criteria and we are therefore unable to proceed with your request."

I need clarity from MTN as to what criteria did i not meet because i would have app**** for other deals from other service providers like Vodacom,Telkom or CellC if they had communicated with me earlier than to stall me for such a poor service for weeks.
