Appalling service

I’ve been listed and now my credit bureau info is messed up because of MTN. They claim that I owe them for a service that I never used as I went to one of their stores in Eastgate to cancel the service, which I have a reference number for. When I call them to dispute this, I am referred to the legal department that never answers until the call disconnects. MTN is the worst provider in South Africa, I am telling you.

They tell me I am handed over but for what exactly because I cancelled my contract on time and how come they’ve never sent me any correspondence to notify me of this and now they’ve ruined my credit profile. I ask them where do I make payment to clear my name, they say they also do not know and refer me to a department that does not exist at all, being the so called legal department.

Their customer service is absolutely useless. Not to mention how IMPOSSIBLE it is to contact their legal department.
