Angry subscriber

MTN gave my number to someone else, the number that I have using for more than 15 years, everything of mine is connected to that, how can they just give my number to someone easily as that. I am livid. That means our personal information is not safe at all with MTN. what am i supposed to do now get new Sim Card, they will probably give me someone else number while they are using it.
