All payments up to date yet suspended

Hi!

I received a SMS on 30/06/2015 indicating that my outgoing call facility will be disconnected unless R556.30 paid. I made the necessary payment and forwarded proof of payment but my call facility was nonetheless disconnected later that day. I received another SMS indicating that payment was received & service reactivated.
I'm surprised now that the service is AGAIN suspended.

I forwarded all my proof of payments for the last 7 months to [Email Removed] & tried to call the customer care call centre but a voice prompt says the service has been disrupted & the call centre closed. So there is no where to turn to to have this resolved.
SHOULD MTN EVEN BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE IF IT'S CALL CENTRE IS CLOSED AND CUSTOMERS UNABLE TO DO ANY QUERIES?? What does ICASA say about this in the light of customers left in limbo, and tons of daily complaints of disconnections & a non-functional call centre & customers nowhere to turn to?? At this rate MTN's operating license should be considered for revoking.

MTN must please restore my service. Also waiting for a LTE SIM for 5 months now. I'm NOT renewing this contract, 3rd time the suspension happens even after payment.

Hello marlonm,

Thank you for your post,

We apologise for the delayed response and for any inconvenience this may have caused.

According to our records the barring on the line was removed and the line is active and in use. Also note that you can get an LTE sim at any of the MTN stores.

Thank you
