I bought R300 airtime this morning. Purchased a rush hour data bundle for R10. Went on the internet. After the rush hour was over wanted to buy bulk data for 2 weeks for R89. Message says insufficient airtime because my airtime was reserved for data. I have to close all apps and reboot. Do that. Now there is no airtime reserved for data BUT I AM SHORT OVER A HUNDRED RAND!!!!!!! where did that airtime go to? The only thing I googled was how to get my airtime back from the reserved spot!!! I am literally boiling mad at the moment. How is this fair? And the worst part is I know that no matter what, I will not get that back. All I will get is an apology reply like every other customer who has complained- changing nothing. Seriously, if 5 minutes on the net cost me R150+ then I am out of this service provider come the end of my contract.

Best regards,
Thank you for your reply. Obviously I misunderstood the rush hour data as I usually buy rush hour calls, and thats different.
However, it does not change the fact that R127 is an extreme amount. Why, if my bundle is depleted not just cut off internet? Is there a setting for that?
Instead data gets reserved for internet and I get charged out of bundle rates. Like I said, obviously my misunderstanding on how bundles work.
