Airtime expires - no notice received
I post the following on Hello Peter: \Yesterday I still had R118.10 on my phone, today nothing. How can my money simply disappear? It is called ***** and I want it placed back on my phone.\"

The response from MTN:
Hello Liandi13,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.

Kindly be advised that the airtime has expired, it is the airtime which was carried over from the previous package. The airtime is valid for 5 months.

We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.

Regards
Nompumelelo
REQ:***

My follow up comment is (to which MTN could't bother to respond):
I received no notice of my airtime expiring (airtime I paid for). And I was not informed when I upgraded that my airtime would expire. Had I been aware of the expiry I would have used the airtime. Send the the terms and conditions stating that my airtime will expire in 5 months and also the terms and conditions indicating that you have no obligation to inform me of such expiry as I am sure this cannot be legal.
"
