Airtime expired eventho it shows I have plenty of Minutes

I took out an MTN contract and I was told that I will receive 50 anytime minutes & 50 MTN to MTN minutes. When dialling *135# my balance shows 96.33 minutes but when I dial other networks or MTN networks it says that my Airtime has expired.
