I normally buy weekly bundles on the 8th of July i bought 2GB weekly bundles but it disappeared on the 14th instead of the 15th, on the 15th of July i bought R100 airtime via Eft it also disappeared, i called Mtn customer service they told me its background data but fun enough all of my background data are off, i switched off my auto updates, so the Agent logged a ticket the ref #SMC/ ********** 7379 which i was told about an internet connection, subscriptions which i don't have if it was an internet connection the same day my airtime disappeared, i loaded another airtime why that connection did consume that airtime. Mtn kindly bring my money back.

Please note that your data/airtime cannot disappear from your device. It had to be used by an app/upgrade etc on the device. There is a simple way to identify on what the data was used on. You can find this information on your device. Most smartphones today do keep a record of data used. You can find this information under your settings or mobile data settings. This will give you an indication on what your data was used on.
