AirG Subscription

Just receive a text message from AirG that states my subscription (which I didn't subscribe to) is free for the first day and then I will be charged R2/day after that. Where does this "subscription" come from and how can MTN allow their customer to be taken for R60 a month like this if you do not stop the subscription.

Seems like I am not the first. Who is AirG? Where does the money go if you do not unsubscribe?

How is this legal from MTN's part if I never accepted any subscription? Seems like someone is lining their pockets at the expense of subscribers.
